HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENT OF LEAD AND CADMIUM CONTAMINATION IN TOMATO SAMPLES

Sebzeler, insan beslenmesinin hayati bir bileşeni olan önemli tarımsal üründür. Yaygın olarak tüketilen domateste toksik elementlerin varlığı, olası olumsuz sağlık etkileri nedeniyle büyük endişe kaynağıdır. Bu çalışmada, farklı pazarlardan temin edilen 18 adet domates örneğinin kadmiyum ve kurşun içeriği araştırıldı. Örneklerdeki element konsantrasyonları, İndüktif Eşleşmiş Plazma Kütle Spektrometresi (ICP MS) kullanılarak belirlendi. Metot validasyonu; doğrusallık, geri kazanım, tespit limiti miktar tayini limitinin değerlendirilmesi için uygulandı. validasyonu sertifikalı referans madde ERM-BC084 Tomato Paste kullanıldı. Sonuçlar, WHO (Dünya Sağlık Örgütü) tarafından sebzeler parametrik değerleri ile karşılaştırıldı. Araştırmalar sonucunda bölgedeki tüketim miktarları dikkate alınarak açısından risk analizi yapıldı. Hedef Tehlike Katsayısı (THQ) maruziyet değerleri, 1'den küçük olduğu kanserojen etki riski olmadığını göstermektedir.
